With only one game left on the Skellefteå AIK schedule, LA Kings ‘exiled’ prospects Oscar Moller and Bud Holloway find themselves atop the Swedish Elite League heading into the playoffs. Moller (#14) who has only played 27 games this season due to injury, is still an almost a point-per-game player with 18 goals and 8 assists. Enjoy the following highlight reel of some of his goals this season put together by MMThirteen.

Good for Oscar! I’m pleased to see he’s doing well.

      Yeah, whatever. 😉

Bud Holloway. One of the biggest fools on the planet imho. Bad idea to do what he did when he did. Moller I can understand.

I agree. There’s no way to know if his game would translate to the NHL but he easily could have been a Nolan/King type. The guy just clinched the scoring title for the SEL. I have to believe he wants to come back. Time will tell. Moller on the other hand is there to stay I believe.

Holloway was ahead of King in the depth chart. He would of likley been the one to come up with Nolan. He actually had a legitimate shot to have his name on the cup and the money that comes with it, but instead … well you know the rest.

Do the Kings have any sort of rights to either Holloway or Moeller?

    • Paul Armbruster

Yes. Until they are 27 all roads to the NHL go through LA.

That reminds me, where’d I put that label maker?

I’m surprised they don’t put ads on their visors!
