Los Angeles Kings’ Trevor Lewis, who grew up in Salt Lake City, announced on KSL 5 News he’s sharing the Cup with Utahns at public events on Thursday, August 30th.
Stanley Cup tradition gives the Cup to each player on the winning team for 24 hours. Lewis will have the Stanley Cup on display, free to the public, at the Maverick Center in West Valley City from 12 Noon to 2pm on August 30th.
“It’s important to me that everybody in Utah and Salt Lake City understand how grateful I am,” Lewis said. “So many people here believed in me and helped me chase my dream.”
