this team sucks on PP..Wish we can say no to them all..

This team needs to start scoring goals

0-18 is pretty bad. The record I think someone said was 0-30. I get the feeling they are still riding on last season’s success in their minds. The KNOW they can do it but it’s just not the same. Must be frustrating.

Still bummed but all in all I think the Kings were the better team tonight. Can’t say we didn’t have our chances. Once the puck starts going in it will all be alright. On to Phoenix.

Quick, for sure, looked very good most of the night. I still fell like he’s coming out of the net too far at times.

I have a heart attach every time he does that or drops behind the net.
For the sake of my heart, Quick, Stay in the crease please!

In order for the kings to score it has to be a playoff game. Except if they dont watch out they wont be in the playoffs come this April.

    • Paul Armbruster

No Terry Murray, a Kopitar poised for greatness, we gained a sniper in Carter, we have a (supposedly) healthy Gagne. One would think the goals would come. Obviously we must point to the power play first and foremost. Way too many chances with no result.

I’m sure soon enough the team will have a winning multi-goal game (more than 2 heh) with our top guys scoring then the proverbial monkey will be off our back. So far it’s been several factors including rust, no bounces, hit posts, etc… And the obvious is everyone’s out to knock off the Champions right now so all the opponents game is stepped up. Any way you look at it, we’re in for some battles all 45 games left.

It’s going to be a grind, no question it seems. In some ways, it may be harder just to make the playoffs than to win the Cup. I don’t know if that’s true but it seems like mentally the guys are just not ready to defend the title. Unless they get their collective minds wrapped around playing as a team, I’m afraid they may fall victim (like many others before them) to missing the post-season post-championship. Not good company to keep.

it is going to take a bit of time to shake the Tampon teachings.
Sadly I believe it will get worse for the PP than better.
What I didnt like about the game was our drop on the PK.
Scoring is still an issue of course, but I havent given up hope,
I am not calling for changes, not calling for someone to be axed
    nor calling for trades.

I am peved they scrapped today’s practice, it should have been nothing but skating drills, drive em til they are dropping. That is how we handled losses in sports growing up.

Now a days everyone is so “UNKNOWN PROPER WORD” (PC, touchy feely, wussy, girly) to do this.

I do like they admit fault and there is some finger pointing, but jeez. Man up and do it.

That said I am still dying to see more Kings Hockey!

Top 2 lines need to get their act together. They look pretty bad so far.

      Did it!
