What Teubert learned is that it takes quite a lot to play at the NHL level. After missing training camp due to a concussion suffered in a fight at the Young Stars tournament in Penticton, Teubert started the season as #9 on the organizational depth chart. Within weeks, however, he was seeing NHL action after a rash of injuries and suspensions sidelined Ryan Whitney, Cam Barker, Corey Potter and Andy Sutton.
